I thought of 2 ways that I could make the cover. By joining 2 squares, one longer than the other for a flap, or by joining 3 squares, with one thin 1 between the other 2.
Both cases are made by knitting squares with only the knit stitch. Work out the size of your square by measuring it up against the object you want to make a cover for, it doesn't have to be a camera.
The 2 methods [left: 2 square right: 3 square]
Sewn up 2 square camera case [left: open, right: closed]
Sewn up 3 square camera case [left: front open, right: back open]
The flaps can be fastened however you want. A possible way is either Velcro or poppers.
To easy sew the pieces together place the squares right side to right side [the right side is the side you want to see when its finished... its like sewing it up inside out]and sew as in the left hand picture. This technique will look like the right hand picture on the outside of the finished piece.
